Dr Thach N. Nguyen is Director of Cardiology at St Mary Medical Center, Hobart IN. He was lead editor of Management of Complex Cardiovascular Problems (third edition 2007 by Wiley Blackwell, NJ) Practical Handbook of Advanced Interventional Cardiology (4th edition, 2012), Evidence Based Cardiology Practice: a 21rst Century Approach (2009 by People’ Medical Publishing House, Beijing, China).

He is holding clinical academic appointment at Indiana University School of Medicine, visiting Professor of Medicine, Nanjing University Hospital, Nanjing China, Trinity School of Medicine, SVG, honorary professorship at the Capital University of Medical Sciences, the Beijing Friendship Hospital, The Institute of Geriatric Cardiology of The Central People Liberation Army Hospital 301, Beijing, China, and Nanjing University Hospital, Nanjing China, Vietnam Heart Institute, Hanoi Medical University Hanoi, Vietnam. He is reviewer for the Journal of Interventional Cardiology, American Journal of Cardiology, Cardiac Catheterization and Intervention, International Journal of Cardiology. Dr Thach N. Nguyen main interests are technical practice of interventional cardiology and practical evidence based medicine applications for clinical cardiology. Recently his interest focused on computer sciences application on heart failure, coronary artery disease and cardiogenic shock. Specifically, it is computational fluid dynamic on coronary blood flow for bifurcation lesion, on platelet aggregation in acute coronary syndrome and on left ventricular contraction and flow in normal systolic function and heart failure.
